Scheduling and Punctuality

Private lessons are scheduled at mutually agreed times between the teacher and the student (or student's guardian).
School-time lessons at Orana School are scheduled in coordination with the class teacher and the violin teacher.
If a student arrives late, the lesson time will still conclude at the originally scheduled time.
If the teacher is late, the full lesson time will be provided.

Discontinuation of Lessons

If you wish to discontinue lessons, 14 days’ notice must be provided, or payment in lieu of notice will be required.
Refunds for any unused lessons will be provided if appropriate notice has been given.
If you do not intend to continue into a new term, please notify the teacher prior to the start of that term.
Lessons will not be continued if fees remain unpaid.

Fee Policy

Lesson fees are billed on a per-term basis.
Payment can be made via Bank Transfer/Direct Deposit or in cash.
Full payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date. The specific due date will be listed on each invoice.
For Bank Transfers, please use student’s full name as the payment reference.

Missed Lessons or Cancellations

Refunds or rescheduled lessons will not be offered for unexplained missed lessons.
In the event of student illness, a make-up lesson or credit toward the next term’s fees will be offered, provided the teacher is notified by phone, email, or text by 8:00am on the day of the lesson.
If a lesson needs to be cancelled for any other reason, at least 24 hours’ notice must be given via phone, email, text, or in person. If less than 24 hours’ notice is given, the lesson fee will be forfeited.
If sufficient notice is provided, a make-up lesson may be arranged, or the lesson may be credited toward the next term’s fees.
Any lessons missed due to teacher absence, public holidays, or pupil-free days will either be made up at a later date or credited toward the next term’s fees.
